Do Not Drink … Play!
If you like to have a drink every once in a while, leave your cash out of the casino if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your purse, your billfold, and keep all money, charge cards and checks out of the casino. Pack only the cash you anticipate to use on alcohol, tipping and whatever pocket change you expect to burn and leave the remainder behind.
Cynical? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You could experience a win after a drunken night out with your compatriots and be blessed enough to catch a marathon toss at a smokin craps game. Don’t forget that adventure because it’s as brief as it gets if you continually drink and gamble. These activities just do not mix.
Leaving your moolah back at the hotel is a bit excessive, but preventative actions for drastic actions is compulsory. If you gamble to win, then do not consume alcohol and bet. If you can afford to toss aside your $$$$ without a worry, then consume all the complimentary booze your stomach can handle, but do not carry plastic credit and cheques to toss into the mix of following losses after your bombed self throws away all the cash!
Allow me to take this 1 step further. Don’t drink alcohol and then head on to the internet to play in your best-liked casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the comfort of my condo, however seeing that I’m linked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit near by, I can’t drink and gamble.
What’s the reason? Even though I do not consume alcohol to excess, once I consume alcohol, it’s certainly adequate to blur my common sense. I bet, so I do not consume alcohol when betting. If you are a drinker, do not bet at the same time. The two mix up for an awful, and crazy, cocktail.
